This story is … literally … bananas.

One of my primary goals for this year is to improve my intuitive skills and hone my intuitive gifts. I put it into practice yesterday.

It’s my personal belief that we are all being supported by a higher intelligence that is both guiding us and co-creating our lives with us. Call this god, life force, higher intelligence, the universe, your soul squad, your higher self – whatever works for you.

I was reminded that I need to ask for support from the universe when I was on a call with Peggy Gaines, my Reiki teacher, earlier this week. She said “Reiki respects boundaries” and we must invite support in. I love this idea, and made a personal promise to take a moment each day to invite higher intelligence to support me and guide me. To remind myself that I’m never alone.

While I was walking Mabel 🐶 in Central Park yesterday, I thought about this again and decided to ask the universe for a sign to show me guides are here, supporting me. I said, “soul team, please show me some bananas as proof that you are here with me, supporting me and guiding me.” Why bananas? I have no idea 🤣 – I don’t even like bananas. I just popped into my mind and I wanted to choose a relatively random sign that would stick out when I saw it.

When I got home, I went into the kitchen to grab a drink of water, and these were on my counter.

🤯 How did this happen? Well, last week my grocery service screwed up my order and as an apology, offered to send me a mystery box of fresh produce. Of course I said yes, and forgot I had put it into yesterday’s delivery. Amongst the goodies? Three bananas.

I still have full body chills thinking about this. I did this a few years ago, asking for an orange mushroom 🍄‍🟫 and immediately saw one in my neighborhood. Same thing happened with my sister Deb when she asked to see a bunny. These synchronicities are all around us. I’m more excited than ever to set my sights on what I desire for the coming year. It’s why I go through the process every year to let go of what no longer serves me and envision the life I want to attract. And always, always, I ask for support from the universe to make it happen.

The universe has our backs my friend. Do you want to give it a try? Think of something you’d like to see as a sign. Don’t overthink it. Ask the universe to send your sign to show that you are being supported and protected. I can’t wait to hear how it goes 🤍.
